Virtual Webinar - Towards Sexual Wellbeing: “Toys, Tech and Talking”

Tuesday, May 21st at 8:30 AM PST

Sexual wellbeing is an important component of overall health and wellbeing and has been defined as “the cognitive and emotional evaluation of an individual’s sexuality” (Laumann et al., 2006).  Yet for many individuals with disability, sexual wellbeing continues to be an area of greatest unmet need.  This webinar will explore common questions expressed by clients in the Sexual Health Rehabilitation Service and offer some specific suggestions to facilitate sexual adaptation, intimacy and self-agency in the journey towards sexual well-being.

Joining us will be Kate McBride, the Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Sexual Health Rehab Service and the University of British Columbia's Dr. Bonita Sawatzky to help give you share their expertise and resources to help you navigate.
